When can I make a claim?

What should I do if I need to make a claim?

Report the incident as soon as possible by following our claims process. Contact us within 30 days of a claimable event. For theft, attempted theft, or malicious damage/impact, report to the police. Prevent further loss, and you’ll likely need the bicycle’s serial number if stolen. All theft-related incidents require a police report.

What information do I need to provide?

Provide information about the incident and possibly your bicycle’s purchase receipt, photos of damage, or the incident area. For stolen bicycles, proof of compliance with the policy's security conditions, such as a lock purchase receipt or the lock key, and evidence of forcible entry may be required.

How to claim

1. Tell us what happened

Report the incident as soon as possible by following our claims process here. All incidents involving theft or attempted theft require a police report in order to make a claim.

2. We do the legwork

While we process your claim, we can reimburse you for a rental bike while we sort out your repair or replacement.

3. Get moving again

Once your claim has been approved, there are a couple of possible outcomes: Your bicycle and/or insured item may be repaired or replaced or you may be offered a payment for the reasonable cost of replacing or repairing the bicycle or item yourself.
