Designed by cyclists for cyclists, and customised to your lifestyle, whether you use it to race, commute, or exercise.
To get you and your bike rolling again. We strive to provide a claims outcome within 24 hours of evidence received.
For Sundays insurance policies, e-bikes include all electric ‘pedal assist’ bikes with up to 250 watts of a max output of the motor and a top speed of 15.5 miles per hour. This does not include bicycles fitted with internal combustion engines or other sources of power assistance. Your e-bike must have started off life as an e-bike, and not be a retrofitted regular road bike or mountain bike.
Our policy now includes battery theft protection, provided the battery is secured and can only be removed with specialised tools.
Since 2008, we’ve been working tirelessly to get more people riding, and keep them riding.
Our products aren’t designed by nameless faces in suits - they’re designed by cyclists that have a deep understanding of the cycling world and the risks cyclists face.

We are committed to clear communication, straightforward pricing, and honest practices.
Our Claims
We take the responsibility of covering your most prized possession seriously.
Our team honours the trust our customers place in us and we consistently work to exceed expectations, from quoting to claiming and everything in between.
About us
Home & contents insurance is designed to do what the name says - cover the standard contents of your home, in your home.
While it may provide partial cover for items taken out of the home, home & contents insurance is unlikely to cover your e-bike for theft away from home, if you crash while riding or racing, and damage or loss while in transit.
We cover your e-bike while it’s locked at home, out on the town, for damage while you’re riding or racing, in-transit in the UK, and even worldwide if you activate this optional coverage.
While home & contents insurance may provide some cover for your e-bike, there may be limitations to the value they insure, and they’re unlikely to cover many of the situations unique to cycling.
Our insurance has been custom-designed to give you comprehensive cover suited to your needs, while maintaining a competitive price. Plus, if you decide this cover isn’t for you, you can cancel within the 14-day cooling-off period. No questions asked, no penalties.
Unlike most home & contents insurance policies, we don’t increase your premiums if you claim.
As cyclists ourselves, we know that if it's not on Strava, it didn’t happen - so you’ll want to cycle with your cycling trip computer, heart rate monitor, the latest GPS or even a GoPro.
You’re only as fast as you look, so we can cover your cycling kit and your extra battery pack that your home & contents insurance might not cover.
As a specialist insurer, we’re not sorting through the many types of claims that may arise for home & contents insurers - we’re dedicated to you and your e-bike!
Our team consists of ex-bike mechanics, retired pros, and enthusiast cyclists who are ready to get you back on the saddle as fast as possible.
Absolutely! We will reimburse you up to £500 for bicycle hire while you await the repair or replacement of your bike, arising from an approved claim.
We’re passionate supporters of the cycling industry, especially bike shops. We are happy to and would actually prefer to work with your bike shop of choice, but we retain the right to choose a repairer if, for example, the bike shop does not have the necessary expertise or stock to carry out a specific assessment. In such a case, we’ll make use of an assessor of our own choosing.
Yes, we love pedal power! We cover all electric ‘pedal assist’ bikes with up to 250 watts of maximum output and a top speed of 15.5 miles per hour. Please note, that you are not covered for and will not receive any benefit in respect of your e-bike unless its specified as covered on your Policy Schedule.
We don’t cover bicycles fitted with internal combustion engines or other sources of power assistance. Your e-bike must have started off life as an e-bike, and not be a retrofitted regular road bike or mountain bike.
Here’s the full definition, if you’re in any doubt: “If reflected as covered in the schedule as an Electric Bicycle, a vehicle or vehicles, insured hereunder, consisting of two wheels held in a frame one behind the other, propelled by human power with pedals (but assisted by an electric motor of no more than 250 watts maximum power output, such electric motor should not be able to propel the bicycle when it’s travelling at more than 15.5 miles per hour) and steered with handlebars attached to the front wheel. The power output or manufacturer of the motor and the battery’s voltage or maximum speed of the bike must be displayed.”
